What is the AGMQ?
AGMQ is the Quebec Municipal Geomatics Association. Incorporated in March 1990, the AGMQ exists primarily to promote the development of geomatics throughout Quebec. The association regroups about 180 members everywhere in Quebec. AGMQ represents URISA (Urban and regional Information System Association) in Quebec.
The Association constitutes an important network of province-wide contacts in the field of geomatics. Its members include municipal general directors, town planners, engineers, computer specialists, industrial commissioners, chartered appraisers, land surveyors and all others who are either intensely or marginally interested in the computer applications related to urban geography.
